Johanna Hellinger // Yoga, Surf, Laughter and Thai Massage

Johanna Is a passionate traveller and surfer and has been practicing Yoga for 8 years until her travels finally brought her to the country of origin of Yoga. She has been experimenting with different styles and Yoga methods and absolved several Yoga teacher trainings in the beautiful Indian Himalayan mountain province of Dharamsala and in Goa. She is excited to share her experience and the benefits of Yoga with you.

Johanna has been teaching Yoga in Portugal and France since 2015. She is giving weekly classes at the cosy Little Yoga space Lisboa. Her favourite places to practise and teach are the beaches and beautiful parks and rooftops with great views over Lisbon.
As surfing is one of Johanna’s passions, she started to organise Yoga & Surf afternoons with Hooked Surf School around Lisbons beaches back in 2015, which have been quiet popular.

Yoga is the “Art of Breath and Movement” and one of the best ways to keep physically and mentally healthy. The practice simply makes you feel good and when practised regularly, it creates a form of constant happiness (sukha). It allows you to calm down and connect with yourself. It is the ultimate tool to stop the aging process and helps you to stay positive and calm even in the most challenging situations.

Johanna also practises Thai Yoga massage. This form of Massage is a beautiful combination of energy work, physiotherapy and supported stretches to release blockages in the body in a creative and flowing way. It is extremely beneficial for everyone interested in alternative methods to bring body and mind back into balance.
